How It Works
Skenar is very different from other electrotherapy instruments such as TENS or Electroacupuncture. Tens units are mainly used to provide relief from pain. Electroacupuncture instruments have a broader range of application, but they lack any bio-feedback capability. Only the Skenar combines energy measuring functions along with real-time feedback and constant adjustment to deliver just the correct type and amount of energy to the body.
The Skenar employs a highly sophisticated computer software program that automatically Senses and Measures the electrical activity of the body (skin impedance) and then delivers a Measured Dose of complex electrical waveforms and frequencies directly to the skin in order to correct any imbalances. These pulses contain numerous random features to prevent the body from adapting to the stimulation. The Skenar may also be used in manual operator mode with complete control over all of the output parameters.
These electrical impulses mimic the electrical discharges of the nervous system and instruct the brain and body to generate specific neuropeptides, the key chemicals used by the body to heal itself. Proper communication between the brain and the affected part is restored and rapid healing may then be possible. As described by one of the developers, the Skenar evolves a new signal pattern for the disordered tissues, the machine literally entering into an information dialogue with the body. New frequencies and energy patterns are established, which in turn become fresh input signals, to be further modified, and so on. This output-equals new input is much the way that fractals are generated. On the premise that disease signals are generally fixed and unnatural, anything, which breaks up the existing order, has the capability of restoring the normal equilibrium.
The picture above shows the front view of the Skenar with its control buttons and LCD display window. The reverse side of the unit contains a special built-in electrode that senses and measures the body's skin impedance when the device is held against the skin. These electrical values are displayed in the unit's LCD Display window. Then, based upon the needs of the body, the Skenar automatically delivers a measured dosage of corrective electrical signals into the Acupuncture point or other targeted area (in automatic mode). All the while, the instrument is receiving constant feedback from the Brain and Nervous System and is actually adjusting itself to meet the needs of the body in correcting itself. This may be seen as the body's own innate intelligence communicating with the Skenar in order to re-establish the proper communication pathways and to correct any energetic imbalances.
